Actarus Funds

The Actarus Funds are a series of small, closed investment funds aimed at financing startups in the internet 2.0 sector. The funds were first started in 2001 and are capitalized by a number of angel investors including many of theglobe.com original investors. Stephan Paternot serves as the funds’ General Partner. OLXs over-arching goal is to provide a more local/regionalized service and significantly superior user experience to Craigslist, on a global level.

Phanfare is a premium, ad-free online photo and video albums hosting business. The service aims to reduce the time and effort needed to create and share albums. Phanfare service was launched in early 2005.

Sonico is a social networking site based in Argentina. Launched in early 2008, the site is already one of the top 50 most trafficked sites in the various Latin American markets.
